Best Value Inn is an alternate hotel located 3 miles from the show hall and is also nice and has food available right there. The Capt.'s Deck has GREAT food for breakfast, lunch and diner and the rooms are also reasonable. Show management has been told that the Show Hotel has no more rooms, but will be verifying.

CHECK-IN: Saturday check in ~ 7:30-8:30 AM .  Judging will begin promptly at 9 AM on Saturday and 8:30 AM on Sunday.

Published show hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.

CAGES: Benching cages of standard sizes (approximately 22”x22”x22”) will be provided for each entry. Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single cage. All cages must be covered on three sides, top and bottom.

SUPPLIES: Please bring your own litter pans, food and dishes. Litter will be supplied. People food will be available at the show hall. Coolers are permitted.

HOUSEHOLD PETS: Household pet kittens (ages 4 - 7 months) and adults (8 months and older) may be entered. All adult HHP entries must be altered (spay or neutered). If you are unsure of the proper color for your pet, include a full description or a photo (photo will be returned with confirmation.)

KITTENS: Kittens entered for competition must be at least four months old on the first day of the show. Kittens for sale must be at least three months old on the first day of the show.

GROOMING/SALES CAGES:  Due to the size of our show hall we have done away with grooming and sales cages. If you require a sales or grooming space you may request one and if space is available may be permitted. All grooming and sales spaces will be given on a first come first serve basis.

SHOW RULES: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and the show committee and the TICA show rules. Official show rules may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2964, Harlingen, Texas 78551, (956) 428-8046.

REGISTRATION: Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown in TICA with a pending registration number. Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored. All Korats (kittens, cats, alters), Provisional New Breed, Advanced New Breed and New Traits entries must be TICA registered to be shown.

THIS IS A NON-VETTED SHOW: All cats/kittens entering the show hall should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Rabies and Calici virus and tested negative for Feline Leukemia. Please clip claws (front and back) prior to benching. Any cat/kitten showing signs of contagious illness, ear mites, fleas or fungus will be removed from the show hall, as well as any other cats/kittens exhibiting from the same household.  Any cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified.

HOLD HARMLESS POLICY: By entering this show, the exhibitor named on the entry form/summary sheet holds harmless Saltwater Cats, The International Cat Association (TICA), Best Western Eastern Shore Inn, and Broadwater Academy for any loss, theft, or accident to cats, kittens, personal property or injury to exhibitors or their guests as a result of any action/conduct related to the operations of this show.  The opinions expressed in publication are those of its authors alone and do not reflect the views of The International Cat Association (TICA).  The use of its logo in no way implies approval by The International Cat Association (TICA).

SUMMARY SHEET: Please complete the summary sheet and return with entries and fees. Fee totals must accompany entry forms. NO REFUNDS.  There is a $10 per substitution fee. A fee of $30.00 plus any bank fees will be charged on all checks returned for any reason. Any entry monies owed to Saltwater Cats at time of check-in must be paid in cash, money order, or certified/bank check and will include an additional fee of $25.00.

CLERKS: Please mark your summary sheet if you are interested in clerking. We need clerks.  Preference will be given to TICA licensed clerks.  Licensed/unlicensed ring clerks will receive $30.00 per day and lunch will be provided.  Fees will be paid at the close of the show on Sunday.  Please do not deduct clerking fees from your entry fee.

CLOSEST AIRPORT: Norfolk International, Norfolk VA. (There is a $12.00 fee when you cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. )
